“I strive to make better society” ----- Pawan Vats

Renowned Educationist of Delhi, Dr. Pawan Vats was born in a decent family on 6 December 1966 in Samalka village, Delhi.

His father Pandit Harvansh Singh Vats was a well-known educationist of his time and a prestigious Principal of Delhi Government.

Mrs. Mishri Devi, the mother of Dr. Pawan Vats, was religious minded, abiding by social norms, helpful to the downtrodden, sensible, skilled in solving family problems, a rich and hardworking woman with a vibrant personality.

Bringing up Dr. Pawan Vats Ji while learning to follow good manners, discipline and social norms. Since childhood, he has been virtuous, rational, discipline-loving, philanthropic, serving sages and saints, following moral values. The high ideals of the parents also naturally influenced their personality. Interest in education and social uplift since childhood

He had a purpose. He did his post graduation (M. A) and B.Ed. After completing his education, he started a new innings of life as a teacher.

Keeping in mind the needs of the society, his father established Heera Public School Samalka in 1992 for the all-round development of the children of Delhi Rural after completing his service as Principal in Delhi Government School. He ensured the education of poor children while doing service work on the post of head of Gurukul Mahavidyalaya, Jwalapur, Haridwar.

Dr. Pawan Vats ji followed his father and worked with true dedication and hard work as the Principal of Heera Public School to fulfill his purpose. Due to his dedication, hard work and efficient management, the students of Class X and Class X studying in Heera Public School have created new records by achieving 100% results in the CBSE board examinations for the last 25 years. He has been awarded Doctorate degree by Gurukul Mahavidyalaya Jwalapur, Haridwar. After the death of his mother, he lit another lamp of knowledge by establishing Shrimati Mishri Devi Gyan Niketan School in Najafgarh area in 1997 in her memory.

To make his father's ideals a reality, he realized the need for education for the progress of the society and therefore schools are being run by him in different areas of Delhi. In which major schools are- SD Public School Delhi, Pinnacle International School Shyam Vihar. The children who passed out from these schools have reached a good position in Medical, Engineering, Indian Forces, Business, Research. The work of spreading education of these schools in South-West Delhi countryside has been commendable.

Due to his unwavering faith and true devotion towards God, he has been going for parikrama of Govardhan every month continuously for the last 36 years. For the last 21 years, he has been continuously organizing Shrimad Bhagwat Katha and Bhandara in the premises of Heera Public School. Following the duty in the field of religion, he has constructed a Gaushala, a Dharamshala and a temple at Govardhan Dham in Mathura region. Holding the post of President of Gurukul Mahavidyalaya Jwalapur, Haridwar, looks after the education system of poor children. He established a free service hospital in village Samalka in the memory of his late mother Mrs. Mishri Devi for eye treatment of poor people. He has opened a free hospital for the general public in the memory of his late father Shri Harvansh Singh Vats.

His life is dedicated to humanity and human service is his main objective. Right now he is involved in studies, school management, public welfare, compliance of new education policy and public service through education and is trying to establish a new medical college.
